Despite the shape of the handle showing where to put your forward finger, the best and most comfortable grips for me all involve ignoring the recess. And it is a comfortable knife!
I’m having issues doing a reverse flick but the slow roll open is easy and very smooth.
It came quite sharp but didn’t meet my silly standards. so I put a 15° edge on it and got it to just short of a mirror shine. It is now so sharp that it falls into the category of “ridiculously sharp” and rests at the top of my collection.
The carbon fibre and copper foil insert is gorgeous and has depth, shimmer, and shiny figures as the knife moves around in the light. The blue fittings are not as bright as the pictures suggest and that muted blue goes will with the shiny copper.
